Why Developers and Technical professional should take this and more business focused certifications?

Salesforce has announced it has a dedicate Business Analyst Certification which was very well put in this SalesforceBen.com Salesforce focused website post “ driving business improvement through technology”.

This is something over the years I used more and more to my advantage as technology professional, having been introduced to technology pretty much at my university only with a dream to have a new path away from professional sports career, the technical expertise I have developed did not take away my personality and skillset which i naturally have.

Why am I highlighting this?

Because I see over and over amazing tech professionals now more than ever losing on opportunities simply due to lack of “Business Analyst” like skills which are more and more crucial in today’s technology job market and how employers are in need of this mix between Tech + Business acumen and ability to fully understand the business perspective and then potentially have an even better technical solution designed.

The number of small business and departments within organisations which find these skillset useful is growing in my opinion, in addition to that we have a subset of developers in the Technology Platforms with an ever rapid pace developing “Point & Click” solutions and…
